Very similar to Lucky Charms--I think a generic version. Although I'm a Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch guy.

Yeah, but we’ll be out of it, by the time it’s actually felt. Also, an erosion to spending/savings is not the equivalent of a tranche of society losing there homes, jobs, bank accounts, and shirt.

True. You can already see it at the airport. Hardly anyone traveling, light loads, extremely low airfare, and the airlines are barely turning a profit.

Most AA flights are usually oversold. Delta just had over $1.2B in profit. Airfare is up over 40% since last year.

Um..
Why is this news?
On 12 July 2022 SK told an audience at TK that they were looking at a WB order of up to 100 aircraft by the end of the year. It's been reported before.. absolutely NOTHING new here.
If this is just our "PR" team using the medial to posture for a better deal, so be it.
We now live in a would where (most) journalist don't really do any research and one big new outlet will literally copy a story from another news outlet.. and make it seem like their own!

We probably (hopefully) order a major WB order by the end of the year. We can all "hope" for something we're on, or we like (Triples.. 78's or the 350).
BUT
Until they show up, at the Gate.. painted in OUR Colors and flown by OUR pilots.. eh.

More important is that we get a kick ass Contract 23 that makes flying these new (and somewhat Replacement) Aircraft worthwhile for our current pilots.

Till then..
Motch

Two consecutive quarters of negative growth, that’s all you need. At no point did I say it was doom and gloom, quite the contrary I’m using this as an opportunity to plow even more cash into investment.

Wait for the Fed pivot however once unemployment starts climbing. That’s when the pain historically starts, and it’s usually about 24 months after that unemployment peaks.
