The last six years of rampant abuse of power and corruption is unprecedented as is the wave of recalls. The line pilots obviously get it.

I rarely comment about this type of stuff, but one thing I've noticed is that as a younger post merger hire, it always seems like the company has its stuff together and the union is a never ending **** show dumpster fire. And with all the politicking going on right now, I can't imagine new guys have a lot of faith in their representation.
With the company rapidly turning over its seniority list, the young dudes are going to reach critical mass in short order, and I have to imagine the distaste in how everyone has handled themselves this year will have a powerful impact on future votes. |

I REALLY thought that Insler would force positive change based on his performance as grievance chair. Nope. As far as I am concerned, UA-ALPA has been all downhill since that day in SFO. But insler has tilted the board solidly in UA's favor. He has fractured the group and lowered expectations. You guys have a LOT of work ahead of you. But it's nice to see the revolt. TumiTA was an abomination.

Pretty good synopsis.
Apparently pilots have seen enough if the wave of recalls is any indication. |

Jerry,
its interesting how you think calling me out means something. Irrelevant. The political hit job you guys manufactured last night isn't going well on other forums. |
Pilots are rightfully repulsed by so-called union representatives turning in line pilots to the company. It is the ultimate betrayal and antithetical to what a rep is supposed to do. This is commonplace for Todd and the Toddlers. Unfortunately, HR makes it very difficult to shine the light on this completely anti-union behavior.
For those who don't want to be bothered with all the details of the corruption all you need to do is look at TA1, the sales job of it, the unprecedented extension of the voting, the shenanigans at LEC reps and the ALPA Int'l VP of Admin making recall efforts as difficult as possible and NONE of our so-called reps resigning. It is unprecedented as is the wave of recalls. The line pilots obviously get it. |

Yet Jerry's group weaponized Article 8 hearings in the past. It was so bad the criteria was changed. that is why Jerry calls A8 toothless, because he can't continue to weaponize it

Interesting that the clown who got his clocked cleaned by the subject of this thread is on here spewing disinformation. The C11 pilots who know you best said, NO THANKS. |

Should probably have block reps instead of CA/FO Reps. I'm sure it would require a change to the constitution or by-laws but something to consider going forward. It would clear out some of the super senior people who are F/O Reps and have people more representative of the pilot group.

Obviously, there are always large generalities and assumptions in these discussions, but it was still hilarious hearing Millennials are starting to reach the "young people and their long hair and loud music" stage of life. Time marches on, I guess. 🤣

Yes this is correct 😂. Not only the disconnect with gen Z, but I can't even yell at kids in the neighborhood to get off my lawn because nobody plays outside anymore! So I just murmur to myself on my porch while I drink my coffee and read the news on my phone. Who knew..
