i think those guys are fun, humorous and they both have a big following so some don’t think they are AWFUL 🤣. Hope to fly with them, bet it would be a good trip.

Yes, it seems like Swayne is a very classy guy. I can’t be sure about that, but at least I’ve never heard him talk trash about a fellow pilot or criticize their hairstyle like a catty adolescent.

Paul Holte is pretty easy to find, so if you have some noise to make about his channel or his haircut, why not just do it to his face like an adult…with class?

when you choose to make a public spectacle of yourself, you also choose to open yourself up to criticism. As a person, he might be a great guy. The need for attention and validation through the use of social media is pathetic. Our entire culture these days, not just the individual you chose to dox

I’m not sure I’d use the word “dox” given that he openly discusses his employer, BES, and *shows his face*, but ok, if I’ve violated his expectation of privacy then mea culpa.

And I’m not suggesting it’s “prohibited” to criticize creators like him, nor that he should not expect or be prepared for it. I only state that it’s a sign of an individual’s lack of character to anonymously bash someone else’s efforts and appearance.

Part of putting yourself out there publically is being able to take the positive comments as well as the critiques, whether they come from anonymous individuals or not.

It is simply an observation of what appears to be very ego-driven behavior and a bad haircut. I didn't insult his family or his flying ability; I am in no position to do so as I have no direct knowledge of either. However, I have been shown quite cringe-worthy videos he has recorded, so commented on them since they (he) is in the public square.

It amazes me that people think they have the right to not be offended in society today when THEY are the ones who put themselves out there for public scrutiny!

I'm no psychologist, but it seems like narcissism is a common thread in many of these 'influencers.' Look at me, look at me....but you can ONLY love me.
