Easter?

Everyone is saying easter by the earliest for a contract. I don’t think we have that amount of time. Pilots are already canceling COJ and headed to DAL. Contracts talk and people have choices. We need to get something in place as we lose great pilots to other airlines. Go jet pay rates are now higher than united. The time is now!

ERAU

No way to speed up the Delta process. Write all the opinions you want, say the same percentage pay increase you want over and over again, complain about the unions action (after the DAL AIP was announced…..before that and we have plenty to be upset about) but the simple fact is AA (to our groups collective benefit) sunk our TA by offer more. No way you want a deal before DAL closes on the current AIP soon to be TA. It’s just bad business. So we run another survey…..review the results…..engage the company…..drag our feet…then delta votes up or down…..then you will get your chance.

The thing you should be pressing for is a AIP for us the same day deltas vote closes so we can beat AAL….otherwise it will be the Fall ‘23 before we have a vote.

snap. it’s called snap. in this case it could probably be worded to keep both DL and UA pilots happy and not freak out the mgmt and maybe even keep AA from their admittedly useful shenanigans last time.

It is kind of crazy to suggest that we can’t move until (insert X, Y, Z airline name) makes their move. We could theoretically torpedo theirs with the same move and we’re all paralyzed. We’re not at all in that boat with a reasonable snap clause and it becomes win/win

But seriously 12-07-2022 03:14 PM

Wait, I don’t get why we can’t come to a deal that torpedoes DAL. I get why management doesn’t want that, but why shouldn’t ALPA? If we come out with a TA that beats their offer, they can match or exceed ours. How is that bad? Everyone ends up richer (except the shareholders).

The good news is, Spirit has an AIP, so. There's that.

Spirit +1!

Dudes talking trash about NK clearly aren’t familiar with work rules and how they can make your life awesome.

We need to wait and see what Delta does in order to keep our leading position in this industry.

Hardly talking trash, some in our ranks came from NK expecting a world class contract, world class airline 'n' all....

It's called irony dude, relax. If you loved NK so much, well, anyway, I don't see a lot of people bailing to NK from UA.

So now we’re picketing for a contract while not actually wanting to move forward with a contract. That’s sending a mixed message.

I can’t wait till Delta wraps theirs up and AA gets an AIP right after. Gotta hang tight and let them worth through the process as well.

AA will not match DAL by any means. Neither will UAL. it’ll be a long time before UAL inks a deal and it’ll Be subpar to DAL’s.

you have numbers and data to back this up?

you think people are bailing because of an AIP?
