Everyone is saying easter by the earliest for a contract. I don’t think we have that amount of time. Pilots are already canceling COJ and headed to DAL. Contracts talk and people have choices. We need to get something in place as we lose great pilots to other airlines. Go jet pay rates are now higher than united. The time is now!

No way to speed up the Delta process. Write all the opinions you want, say the same percentage pay increase you want over and over again, complain about the unions action (after the DAL AIP was announced…..before that and we have plenty to be upset about) but the simple fact is AA (to our groups collective benefit) sunk our TA by offer more. No way you want a deal before DAL closes on the current AIP soon to be TA. It’s just bad business. So we run another survey…..review the results…..engage the company…..drag our feet…then delta votes up or down…..then you will get your chance.
The thing you should be pressing for is a AIP for us the same day deltas vote closes so we can beat AAL….otherwise it will be the Fall ‘23 before we have a vote.

It is kind of crazy to suggest that we can’t move until (insert X, Y, Z airline name) makes their move. We could theoretically torpedo theirs with the same move and we’re all paralyzed. We’re not at all in that boat with a reasonable snap clause and it becomes win/win

Wait, I don’t get why we can’t come to a deal that torpedoes DAL. I get why management doesn’t want that, but why shouldn’t ALPA? If we come out with a TA that beats their offer, they can match or exceed ours. How is that bad? Everyone ends up richer (except the shareholders).

It's called irony dude, relax. If you loved NK so much, well, anyway, I don't see a lot of people bailing to NK from UA.
