You are not really in this for a good contract are you? From a outsider looking in with some vested interest you guys have got to stop the insults and name calling, accept the past and move on. If you don’t your doomed to mediocrity.

History will show that anything remotely connected to the Insler team was a black stain on our profession, once he was elected MC. Neil’s short tenure is simply a poor attempt to change the subject. But those of us who said NO to the Tumi turd have not taken our eye off the ball. We’ll get our act together, but we have to make sure no other Toddlers have designs on anything remotely close to an influential position wrt negotiating our next contract.

Speaking as a post-merger guy, I've got no love for Insler, but the faction that overthrew his people and tried to rush in NS seem just as incompetent, out of touch, and stubborn. I still have faith in the guys on my LEC, they seem like functional adults.

Did they support the TA?

My rep voted in favor of NS. After speaking with him I'm fully confident in his desire to do what's best for the pilot group as a whole. He completely understands the chasm between the legacy groups and post merger hires. As far as stubborn, I simply won't dignify that with a response.

Functional adults. Which group fought recalls and which simply resigned? Which has their own interest in mind vs that of the pilot group?

If your reps supported the TA, they’re the problem. Doesn’t get much simpler than that.

Both you and Terp succinctly nailed it. My concern also lies with lengths one will go to silence others.

No, they didn't. I'm talking about the interim reps put in place after the recall.
