This forum has lost a goldmine of satirical posts (trolling) when some super snowflake complained about having their feelings hurt by fadec. His (her?) brand of satire and deadpan ridiculousness is GOOD for this forum. If you happen to think his/her posts are serious….then YOU are the one who should be banned. JMHO.

Agreed. I feel he people who argued for his banning are doing an injustice to this forum.

1. Through satire FADEC successfully iterated the end state and extremes of some peoples’ positions. There is real rhetorical value to this.
2. His posts were genuinely funny.
3. Those too simple to “get it” and their reactions were genuinely funny.
4. 95% percent of the information on the forum is hear-say, I come here for entertainment and very occasional factual information.

Primarily for reason #1, unless FADEC seriously violated Forum rules, he really should be reinstated. If it’s because people complained and it was a populist decision, well, that’s a poor and dangerous precedent here.

Well, trolling is against TOS. I know that's not enforced unilaterally, because who has time for that, but some users only troll. Some are often entertaining, like Fadec.. but at some point that type of user will cross the line too many times.

Sigh.. let's see how the poll goes. So far not looking good
