My main reason for going to United would be that I could pick up the 737 in ORD relatively quickly and I know ORD isn't going to be downsized or closed.

Seriously? WHY are you implying (like so many others) that WB CA is the benchmark at to whether or not its worth the jump? Do you somehow think retiring a senior WB FO or NB CA isn't still a damn good reason to make the jump?

NB CA at UA vs NK.... It's pretty easy to argue that it's the same if not better job, overall, at NK. So for this person, the deciding factor is the fact that WB CA is a potential opportunity at UA.

☝🏻 100%…….May I add that this would also be applicable with LAX as well as Newark, NJ

NB CA at NK is doubtlessly better than NB CA UAL. Better ability to manipulate schedules, drop to zero etc… However, those prized work probably rules won’t survive intact in a JetBlue merger, so will likely go to the JetBlue standard, which is still arguably better than NB CA at UAL with ability to drop and manipulate schedule, pickup premium flying etc.

WB flying is something Spirit/JetBlue aren’t going to have. UAL is getting the A321XLR so JetBlue SQ flying will be run if the mill at UAL.

This is literally what I said but just reworded…

Also I love how everyone is an expert on which of our work rules will remain for the JCBA… Please 🙏 continue to share your wisdom with us oh mighty wiseman! Also do you happen to have the winning lotto numbers handy?
