something wrong buddy?

I get defensive when people who normally have no clue about current ops tempo and requirements spread misinformation. Not sure the actual abuse part #s, but I have to think it’s incredibly minute.

So you agree (because you don’t get this deal, or maybe recently retired) there are more than a token few pilots doing this without logging pay and/or doing mil duties? I’m being generous with you because I truly think out of maybe 150,000 major/cargo pilots there are 0-3 guys dumb enough to drop mil leave for no reason over holidays like that. You think it’s more?

the original question was about when the tipping point of pay (airline vs. mil day) occurs and I think it should stay there. I think we agreed it’s around year 2/3 depending on airline seniority and mil rank.

there are obviously folks who take offense to people using their userra rights in ways that make life pallatable in the balance.

Nice work, though. Good Scare tactics for the younguns. Definitely serves the management purpose

I made no such assertion. What I said was there are certain behaviors that will raise red flags and cited an example. Buyer beware.

If you logged one FTP on each Dec 24th and 25th...yeah that's bad form. Full month of title 10? Wouldn't worry about it one bit.
