Preorder deadhead meals?
Anyone know how to get the invite to work so I can preorder a meal? I keep getting 'window closed' in spite of it being 2-5 days prior.

I've got it on the app in my inbox. Within the window, but when I try to choose a meal, it says that the window's closed. But the flight doesn't leave for 3 days.

Doesn’t always work via the app. Instead, go to https://www.united.com/preordermeals. I think you have to be within 48 or 24 hours. Seems to work better this way.
I sent a couple of emails to the head of catering and someone else to try to resolve it, along with having my flight office pursue it. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to preorder. And it saves the company money because it's less extra meals to board (so as to offer choices to pax). |
