Trying to understand what you guys did following the failed jun22 TA.
I know MEC Chair stepped down, was replaced and then he stepped down with a final replacement.
Did you replace the entire NC or keep some in place? We are going through similar circumstances at Fedex. Thx.

It was 2/28/22 when Insler wrote his fairwell letter and end of summer/fall 2022 when the local level recalls and votes for their replacements happened. Things would have happened/progressed much faster had reps actually stepped down, however we had to go through the full process for everyone. A few of the local councils survived and most of the NC stayed in tact.
Did it take a while for the process to play out? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely.

tumi vote from reps
15-4 in favour later 94% voted down
12 reps were recalled successfully
all 3 executive MEC members were replaced
one NC member was replaced out of the 3
another NC member quit so 2-3 NC pilots were new and produce our contract that was accepted by 81%
good luck
