Partial COLA and bidding
I am trying to figure out how to bid if only on a COLA for 1 week. What is the credit range I should be bidding for, min days off for the remaining 3 weeks. Is there any document I can refrence for this info? Thanks!

Min days off are whatever is shown on the bidding page when selection auto pool on.
There is an excel calculator on the MEC page. Just search for calculator and it will be the first thing that comes up. Just fill in the blanks and it will tell you what to shoot for.
This link may or may not work:

There's also a phone number and a web site listed at the top right side of the bidding interface where you can contact a PBS trainer for assistance.

All of this info is available to you within the bidding interface. Minimum days off is in your Crew Info screen and you can see the Line Construction Range at the top of your bidding window when you click on the "Trip Pool Statistics" button. You don't have to bid for a specific amount of credit; just bid for the trips and days off you want and let PBS do the rest. Check your BAT results - they should look exactly like what you want. Doesn't mean you'll get that, of course, but the BAT results should accurately reflect your requests.

There’s not much you can do about that when bidding, as your schedule has to be built to within the line credit range, regardless.
For example, I have three weeks of vacation in January for an initial line construction credit of 68:15. The minimum LCR in my category is 70 hours, so PBS is going to have to assign me something to get my awarded schedule into the required credit range. Problem is, whether I’m given the minimum or maximum credit during the bid run (which is ultimately out of my control as my final LCR is determined largely by the bidding choices of senior pilots), all of my flying will be “for free”.
(Although, trying to make the argument that I’m “flying for free” when I’m probably only going to fly one trip for the entire month and get paid an @ssload of cash is sort of disingenuous, IMO.)
