You'll end up with them if your highest parameters in your bids are for commutability. Otherwise should be easy to avoid if you drive to work.

There are two main differences between United and Frontier...

-United treats you like a professional and realizes you have needs/responsibilites outside of work.
-United isn't afraid of spending money to make money.

The first week of indoc at United will seem like a foreign country to a former Frontier pilot, ask me how I know. You will be completely amazed at the organization, professionalism, technology, customer service expectations, and operational design. Does all that stuff equate to QOL? Not necessarily right away, but it will certainly make you immediately take much more pride in your career.

I disagree....F9 5 yr old contract has MUCH more strict language against being extended into a day off than UALs 3 month old contract.

That being said, UAL wins 80% over F9

I can't speak to DEN specifically, but I'm a commuter and haven't had any problem avoiding redeyes. There are heaps of pairings that start after noon and end before 1900, which would make just about anything commutable.

I already did leave! But I still have to be fair and call it as I see it. F9 DID have more schedule flex overall than UAL.

At F9 you could drop trips much more easily (down to 60 hrs at least), and you could NOT be extended into day unless unless you were stuck due to Mx or severe wx.

Just be be clear, UAL is still better overall, even before C2023. Now its wayyy better in 90% of other stuff
