Well, we copied almost evrything else for the contract from Delta, we should have looked at their "triage" DH booking system. And, we should have gotten their PBS Navblue monthly bidding sytem too.

Done both on south Florida to NYC route and the one with check in time definitely helps you a lot - if you not senior enough to book it - use other options or buy ticket, everything is transparent. If we would have at least mandatory listing - that would help junior pilots.
Yeah, that’s kind of the point of a seniority based system.

Can you list an hour ahead and get the jumpseat, if there is someone junior to you already listed? If not, that’s not seniority based.

Do you think it is fair to your fellow pilots to list yourself for commute one hour prior when you had your schedule done 3 weeks prior?

There is nothing “fair” about a seniority based system, other than seniority itself. If my schedule changes the day prior or a flight cancels, I prefer to have the option of listing for a flight based on my seniority.

He doesn’t care what is fair to his fellow pilots. He expects them to live with complete uncertainty about commuting, because he thinks his seniority has earned him the right to be lazy and walk on at the last second.

Besides he is probably so busy campaigning for age 67 he doesn’t have time to list in advance.

Lol—I may be for our current JS system, but I am in no way for age 67. Or 65 for that matter.
