I’m many years from upgrading to a belt clip cell phone holder & still have no interest in changing our JS structure. I’ve been bumped plenty, and yeah, it sucks, but I still think seniority is a fine way of deciding who gets the seat.

I could see something like awarding the seat 30 minutes prior just to avoid last minute shuffling & potential delays, but days out? No thanks.
