Default EWR 78

How often are you able to drop a trip on the 78 in EWR? Currently a 73 Captain in ORD, wife is a 73 FO in ORD. Trying to make our schedules work with two little kids. Commute from Michigan, woul probably be about 45% in EWR. How is the staffing historically for dropping the occasion trip? Thanks.

Right now dropping is easy, plenty of excess reserves plus LH looking to make some more hours. How long it will stay this way...who knows.
Problem is, if you don't like your intial schedule and drop a trip, chances of picking something else up are slim...see statement above.

Are you talking about 73 CA to 78 FO or CA?

78 FO. I saw for April the g line was at 55%. Looking to park it somewhere for a few years while my kids are younger.
