New Pacific Destinations

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18XzaS42iR/

Three new destinations (not new routes) will be announced tomorrow. Since we have received 5 787s since November without and signifcant increase in routes and 9 more deliveries in 2025 any ideas where these new Pacific Destinations are?

Well since we already fly to AUK its not a new destination. They are new cities that we aren't already flying to, not just new routes.

SGN,BKK and a restart of SFO-CTU may be?

AUK: Alakanuk Airport (IATA: AUK, ICAO: PAUK, FAA LID: AUK) is a state-owned public-use airport located 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) west of the central business district of Alakanuk, a city in the Kusilvak Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska.

Maybe you meant AKL? As in New Zealand?

Aawww hełł North Atlantic, South Pacific what's the difference? Austral or Borreal? Shìììt wut dat mean?, sounds like some kinda Shampoo shìt.

It's ok just review your WOM and make sure you have your passport, medical, ATP certificate and FCC Radio Telephone operators license.

and like I hate to urinate on everyone's campfire but the news about us resuming flights from the East Coast to the People's Republic of China.......is like Fake......I thought most of us probably could have figured that out but judging by UPF content......I am now not so confident.

The new cities are BKK and SGN, however they will be flown as a penalty lap from HKG.

I expected these 2 cities to be added, but I thought they would have been on the 737 out of NRT. I wonder why United chose HKG. Are the loads to HKG bad, so they’re trying to fill up those flights? Otherwise it would seem NRT would have been a better choice. Can United sell tickets from HKG to these cities, or will these added flights be half full? I know several people won’t be able to take these flights to BKK and SGN because the connection is in China.

The new flight to a new destination is SFO-ADL (Adelaide, Australia) 3x a week, beginning Dec 11th.

I would expect that UAL will be able to sell tickets using (fifth?) freedom rights, we were able to at my last airline. No Chinese visa required for HKG, so most passengers can go there. It's probably in terms of cargo better to fly from HKG than NRT, also
