I retract my statement! I've seen more pics, here and elsewhere. Plus every time they're cleared off, they're being put up again by others. Yea.

SFO was exactly the same on the UAL side. Almost made the all nighter worth showing up for!

I love the responsiveness but what is this in response to?

Last October, when federal mediation began, NMB Mediator Gerry McGuckin asked both parties not to negotiate in public, particularly not to publish details of various proposals swapped across the table.

ALPA has complied, to the point that United and Continental pilots don't know very much about the union's opener and subsequent counter-proposals. Last week, the company published its opener -- what amounts to a cost-neutral contact that pays for salary increases with concessions in scope, vacations, and other areas -- on the company "negotiations" web site.

United Airlines Negotiations

The pilot section included a downloadable .pdf document of the Company's opener. Go to the bottom of this page and click on the link: "To read the company's proposal, click here."

Actually, rather than making everybody sick, this company misstep seems to have livened everybody up. I never thought I'd see this kind of energy in the Houston base.

I was livened up when our scope was and is being violated..I was livened up when captains I fly with have no clue what a swa pilot makes not to mention their QOL..what they printed on that website is sickening..I do realize its negotiation time, and we and they are gonna play hard ball..being on rsv. here has livened me up enough not to mention the first part of my post..Happy Fourth to ya all, and good luck to us all.

Disgusts me every time I encounter a completely clueless captain. One I flew with a couple years ago didn't even know we had guys on furlough. How could you not know when CALALPA sent information to your house to vote on an assessment for furloughed pilots' medical coverage? These guys are in their own little world and don't care one iota about the pilot group or anyone but themselves.

In the meantime, the wall papering in the EWR CPO entryway had wrapped around the entire area by yesterday evening. Picture frames and plaques were also covered over. Nice to see.
