ALPA has complied, to the point that United and Continental pilots don't know very much about the union's opener and subsequent counter-proposals. Last week, the company published its opener -- what amounts to a cost-neutral contact that pays for salary increases with concessions in scope, vacations, and other areas -- on the company "negotiations" web site.

I wouldn't even say it was a cost neutral contract. If I stay on the 737 I actually take a pay CUT!! This of course assumes I am not outsourced to the small air force of 94 seaters Jeffy wants.

So, in the above picture, who are the "EWR base pilots of the quarter?" Those dudes who pick up the most open time?
Also at 1900 on the 4th, why aren't their doors open?

The same reason they were closed @ 2pm on Friday the 1st. Management doesn't have to play by the same rules (or schedules for that matter).

Ah but the CP's are quickly seeing their staffing levels go negative as well. They are also becoming experts at flying the right seat. I know one is out doing a gem of a trip today because everyone refused the stank bait last night.
