Anybody get a call today?
 

Just wondering if anybody got a call for October class at CO. I have 430 ahead of me (Nov. 99 hired) and am very curious to hear how many people bypass since there are 8 Guam slots in the first class.

Any info out there would be great. Thanks.

Just got e-mail from Ted. Calls were postponed until tomorrow. They are still working out some minor issues.

When were you hired DR?

DR said he was Nov 99, I am a Dec 99, and thought I was less than 300 numbers out. Either way, no can do Guam, otherwise I would have been flying in China or Japan by now!
We definitely know there are Guam slots in the first class?

Use unless things have changed since Friday. 7-8 slots out of the 12 for 4 Oct. Good news is that should take care of Guam slots.

About to go off the grid for 2 weeks riding my motorcycle around the country. XXX UAL or the preferential hiring I should say at CAL. If you're interested, I will decline, and I wish you the best. I wouldn't volunteer for GUM or the reserve system they have elsewhere. I did my time with 10 days off under a system which mirrors theirs during the early BK years.

I'll respond when conditions allow. For me, calls mean nothing. When I get paper in the mail, I'll respond/decline this new hire offer.
