Passengers don't care or really pay attention to the uniform anyway. I jumpseat on Virgin Ameria all the time in full U-boat commander regalia and the passengers always think I am a Virgin America pilot.

Thanks for the update testers and sorry for putting out bad info. It was a quick glance on a commute and I didn't recognize the uniforms. I thought the wings were ours. Glad to hear.

I've heard a lot of talk of gray uniforms. The other day commuting through Miami, I think I saw them. Not joking. Gray...not dark...all gray pants, jackets, etc. I didn't even pay attention accept to think, what airline wears that crap? I think I saw our testers. Then the Captain I was flying with mentioned the gray rumor and I thought OH NO......That Alaska uni would be beautiful compared to the crap I saw in MIA.

Midnight Blue?

There goes my summer Sears pants uniform.

I see everyone else is getting black, (agents, F/A's ect..), why the f did WE pick blue. Rumor has it WE didn't pick it, Wendy and Garry did.

Pilot uniform design team worked with company representatives from Flight Operations and Marketing along with Brooks Brothers to come up color choices. The pilot design team made recommendations to the MEC as to the the color, etc. The MEC then chose the color and informed Brooks Brothers and the Company. Haven't seen any official announcement of what that color is, but I would assume if there is going to be wear testing the company is going to have to make some branding announcement soon since these are supposedly tied in with the new brand United is going to roll out.

Hope so.
Not a fan of the “Copa” paint scheme

Lol you guys and hats I never minded the hat when I flew. I must be old I guess I think we just looked more professional back in the day.

Have not noticed the wings but does the current hardware have service diamonds/ruby’s like we did back in the day.

Not a fan of the epaulets, I liked the PM UAL epaulets.

I’m going to be a wear tester starting in May, so we’ll know soon enough.
