757-300 is not 330 etops nor will it fly 6400nm. Your post made it seem as though WB pay scale for the 787 is justified just because the 787 and 757-300 have same seating capacity....something abbot would argue..hence my question

No. Sorry, two unrelated comments. I just expected the 787 to have more seats. I know there are three versions of it. I see what you thought though. It would be like saying the 767-200 should pay the same as the 737-900ER since they have the same seating capacity.

Otto:

The "program" is when ever there is a change which provides an opportunity to advance the contract it needs to be taken. Pilots are here to get paid to fly the jets and if the 787 has a special design and mission it is not just another wide body airplane and deserves to be recognized as such.

Ancient history!

Dubo signed away that ability via a side letter back in 2000/2001.

It's almost the same seating capacity as the 757-300.
Is that just ANY widebody they choose?? Or are aircraft listed in the contract by model ie 737-300 767-300? If so.....then it IMHO need to be negotiated, and into which catagory it should be slipped into. I aint

I don't care if it's an RJ as long as the pay rates are $275/hr. Just sayin.

I guess 330 ETOPS will be important if you are flying from SCL to CPT.. other than that...
