I don't care about your MC Pierce. My only concern is he hasn't come up with an original idea to fix current problems and does nothing more than try to undermine the work of JH and that's keeping money out of our pockets. You want to pull away from the UAL guys - have at it. You'll suffer as much as we will. Rumor has it that Pierce is going to work a deal with Jeff to extend your current CAL contract and force the UAL MEC to go along with it. I don't think that'll be good for you or the company - it'll cost a whole lot of money and the UAL guys are ready.

Don't invest yourself in rumors...do you really think the CAL pilots will allow an extension of the current contract? Give us all a break. I can see this thing splitting like a fire wood, IF the MECs remain in the corners. That is much bigger than JH or JP...so talk to your reps to get it done yesterday. That's the center of gravity, NOT JP or JH.

You keep forgetting that JP doesn't work for YOU. He works for the CAL pilots so stop your Fox News flashes. We get it...you want him out, but the truth is WE don't care what you think in this area and you are meddling. You do know that when you attack our elected leadership, you are attacking our pilots decisions. I didnt hear any CAL pilots stating Wendys got to go....
Too bad, because you should have. I wouldn't have blamed CAL pilots a bit for calling out Wendy for her failings.
Your perspective is way off in my opinion. Like it or not, we are in this together, and poor and counterproductive moves have a direct impact on both pilot groups. Our MC's are responsible for a JOINT contract.

You do know that when you attack our elected leadership, you are attacking our pilots decisions. I didnt hear any CAL pilots stating Wendys got to go...Your stirring the pot will not achieve a JCBA, because before you know it, both pilot groups will be in their corners ( like our respective MECs) and its over because WE ( collectively) allowed the Jointness to dissolve. JP report was because we encouraged our LEC reps to the MEC to get our side of the story out as the first letter was non- committal and cautious. That was appropriate and directed by the MEC BUT given the stiff arm by the UA MEC and JH I'm more supportive of the CAL MEC for taking a stand on how negotiations and relationships will be forged going forward. If they will be. As I stated before, we need to put pressure on our respective MECs to get back to the table, if at all possible and get past this impasse.
All this chest beating, that my MEC Chairman is better than yours, just plays into the company’s hands. They have ALPA chasing it’s tail. There are two undisputable facts in this fiasco;
1) For his own reasons, JP is satisfied with the pace of progress, JH is not.
2) The UAL-MEC wants to put pressure on the Company, JP does not.
Speculation as to why this is so may be entertaining, but the pilots from both groups could care less about the MEC politics, personal slights etc., they want a better contract. If given a vote they will support the leadership most likely to produce one. All UCH pilots are on the same team, both pre-merger groups will live with the results of these negotiations. This intramural rivalry only serves management’s purpose to delay paying higher wages.
The L-Ual group can go it alone and the L-Cal will benefit from the effort, but it will take longer and the results will be less satisfactory. JP, has shown his colors, he will now have to deal with his constituents. In any case, it makes no difference what the L-Cal group decides regarding their leadership. The L-UAL leadership can and should proceed to move the negotiating process; this is in all the pilot’s best interests. The tyranny of the minority must not impede the effort. If JP is the newest incarnation of a former UAL-MEC Chairman, J. Ferg, he and his sycophants no doubt will be outed.

there needs to be no more bomb dropping by either mec!
There needs to be no more pre-emptive missile strikes by either mec chair.
There needs to be a quiet period from the mec's.
Both mec chairs need to smoke the peace pipe at the ifalpa conference.
The nmb is not impressed with recent events. It makes us all look like children having temper tantrums.

big falling out at last ALPA National conference when lee decided he didn't want Jay P. as his First Vice President. No love-loss there.
The personal stuff doesn't matter. it's business. Lets just do the work of the pilots and get down to business. Check the ego's at the door.

Not trying to be snarky at all. Just curious as to the source of the NMB leak.
