and very few pilots now accepting JRM, will make S2K pale in comparison.

Hell, I'll even go one step further... You can even be friendly and sympathetic for everyone around you to see and hear :). As long as you just do your job and don't attempt to save the airline you will emerge with your self respect intact. At this point, nothing will save the operation from implosion -- not even the superheros.

of the kind of management team we're dealing with at UAL.

The key word is "some". They get it done when there are a few JRM events. They can handle a few more, but eventually they will run out of heroes and the house of cards will fall. Eventually the heroes will get tired and have to say no.

The implosion has begun. Look at their realization that their FA model isn't working and the summer hasn't even begun.
