Got a call from the crew desk for junior manning tonight. So sad I couldn't do it because of a dinner date with my wife
. Trip still isn't manned. (Please understand the sarcasm).

lol!
I just checked the status of a trade request I have for Fri. I'm trying to trade out of a LHR trip on Fri and into an equivalent trip on Thur so I can go to a friends party on Sat. This is the open trip count:
Thur -- 4x4day, 1x3day, and 1x5day
Fri -- 4x4day
Sat -- 2x2day and 2x4day
I'm expecting the JR manning calls to start tonight
idiots.

Respectfully disagree. I'm not advocating violating our "injunction" and giving the NMB any reason not to release us. But from the seat I was in back then, I really didn't have to do a thing but sit watch the show unfold in front of me. The airline was so badly mismanaged, they did the majority of work themselves. I'm guessing it's going to be just as bad this summer. Summer hasn't even started yet and they are already JM people. TK hasn't spooled up. Retirements will start soon and guys can't take it with 'em. I haven't accepted a JM in years but I'm hoping many of the guys who have are done. I just see a very similar summer in front of us.

We pilots have, will, and continue to go above and beyond in spite of management efforts (and some union reps) to totally tank ths merger.
