Correct.... not only that, if you are ON sick leave right now you have to call the Flight Office today and "discuss your status".
First of all, who on sick list checks their UAL email? Second, I'm pretty sure that I am protected by federal law from having to discuss my illness with my employer. Anyone have a statute handy?
Last, with the schedules they are forcing right now, why are they surprised that people are getting sick? 4 on, 1 off, 6 on, 2 off, 4 on, 1 off, 5 on will make you sick... and tired. The only thing I haven't figured out is whether there will be 1 or 2 fatigue calls for me during that stretch.
