Back to the main subject, I was under the impression that our contract was amendable in August of '08. Isn't that the case?

L-UAL....Jan 2010. We extended it in 2005 when they came for another round of concessions and pension termination. Those fkers. And now another 3yr "extension" from dragging their feet. By the time we see a raise, it will have been a decade...a majority of my kids life, living under a POS concessionary contract. DAL did the same thing to their pilots, right?? Oh wait. No they didn't, did they? F' this place...take every dime you can when/however you can get it. RETRO baby. It's time for payback.

I will be a Captain here for a LOOOONG time, and I have a LOOOONG memory.

At least you are a captain. Going on 13 as an FO and will probably be 20 before an upgrade, worse if we are screwed in an SLI

I wish! I flew very junior guppy Captain 2007-2008. Bumped out when we parked them. I meant in the future. How UAL can F us and our familes over and think there will be no consequences....I will never forget.

Should a pilot who took a voluntary furlough 4 years ago or a pilot who took a leave of absence 4 years ago to pursue something else be entitled to retro? How is that any different?

Most junior 737 Capt at LCAL is a 2005 hire.

I think that speaks more about the particular base involved and the attractiveness of RSV at LCAL than the broader demographic of the CAL list.
