We've been played. Management and Heppner will use the expiring TPA as a fear tool to get more pilots to vote for the JCBA. The timing pieces of that puzzle fit perfectly to management's benefit.

Coach, i diasgree.

The tpa isnt a threat anymore as the jcba is near fruition. Any gains fom the jcba wouldmost likely negate anything negative in the tpa. That and the time frame to do any bad stuff in th tpa would be limited.

Im not even worried about the tpa. Only certain items expire. Also i would argrue that th company would try to use. Change in status quo as leverage. Dont think puchala would like that...regardless if it was a prenegotiated item

You assume the JCBA will pass. The point is, if the JCBA is marginal there will be some fence sitters not knowing whether to vote "yes" or "no" for the marginal JCBA. We are going to hear from those wanting us to vote yes (both Jay's and the company), that if this JCBA TA is voted down, by the time we get another JCBA TA to vote on, the T&PA will have expired and the company will punish which ever side they view as militant in the JCBA vote by moving A/C and domiciles and ignoring ratios. Those are the provisions that expire and it's not a violation of the status quo because the idiots that negotiated a T&PA with an expiration clause waived that part of their argument.

That's why we've been played.
