I don't think this chart came through properly. Regardless, did you expect the union to achieve its opening proposal? These are negotiations after all.

I find it funny whenever I hear a pilot complaining that JH or JP sold us out. After all, they kept demanding full retro and 50 seat scope. Of course they demanded all that (and a bag of chips), its negotiations. They could not go to the pilots and tell them what they really expected to achieve as that info would be posted two seconds later on APC and on Jeff's desk two seconds later.

If your quest in this negotiation is to achieve all of our demands, then strap in because its going to a bumpy ride that will never end.

Well YES since we GAVE UP scope and most of the RETRO PAY back to 1 Jan 09 and since we started with more of a "middle ground" value to begin with as not to "slow down" the process.

We also initially proposed:

Vacation credit 31:30wk/4:30day
Training pay/credit 5:00/day (NO training on days off)
Sick accural 5:30/mo with NO sick pay cap
Scope-prevent management from contracting out express flying of greater than 50 seats as well as those that apply to 79 seat turboprops. Prevent addt joint ventures even with foreign carriers without new agreement. Complementary-carrier ration of ASMs in a code share dropped to 105%, ratio hub to hub dropped to 110%. NO international flights by a complementary carrier in/out of a company hub. NO Express flying between hubs. NO booking or sale of a pass itinerary on a series of Express flights where one org at a hub and one terminates at a hub. Monetary penalties for non compliance with this section.
Domestic Red eye premuim pay $6/4
30 min drug/alcohol test
Pay form main cabin door close to open.
Gate delay pay w/pax onboard over an 1 hr
Higher Domestic per diem, International + per diem, higher annual increase on per diem
Uniform allowance acount
PBS long list of improvements??
RESERVES: 17 days on (w/flex to 18-4bid periods), eliminate moveable days off, IJM in days off 200% pay, NO double pumping
REASSIGNMENT: past termination pay 200% and be subject of day off restoration
If NO communication from pilot, presumtions will change to pilot non consent.

I can go on. Looking at the comparison - we gained some, GAVE UP lots!
