And you truly, honestly believe that this substandard ta will stop it? My question for all the lual yes voters is, what are you going to do when the sli takes 6-12 months or longer and mgmt still parks lual 757's and/or reduces staffing like you think they will if the ta gets voted down?

And if you're in the left seat, I'll bet that you haven't missed any house payments. Have you taken vacations? Are you driving a 15 year old car? So, my point.....you may think that you understand...you don't. if you did, you wouldn't have even made that comment to the Airbus guy in the 1st place.

I can't speak for anybody but myself, but I'm looking forward to the retro check.

Nothing will happen until the JCBA, it's time to get it done.

Well voting the TA down isn't going to stop it either. So what is your point? Do you think a LUAL pilot should wait another 6-12 months for a new TA and then another 6-12 months for the SLI while mgmt parks the 757 and possibly the Airbus fleet? Couple that with the strong possibility the replacement aircraft will go to the LCAL side and no transition agreement protections after March 2013?

No I have not missed any house payments, but yes I do understand and my comment to the airbus guy was many of us are tired of listening to him and his selective hearing.

So is it my fault I am in the left seat? Everybody has a story here and that I do understand.

As far as you speaking for just yourself yes that I understand as it sounds like you are looking out for just yourself, and no problems there either as in 10 years when we get a new contract it will be the same old crap and this company will know that this group will roll over.

Oh yea I hear the comments here like we will all be one big happy family I doubt it unless everyone gets exactly what they want and so far to my suprise ual pilots look like the weakest in this fight.

Just look, all the phase training done on time, no sorry done early, all training done early, special assignment they have so many people volunteer to help themselves they have to turn pilots away from sa, lca work no problem guys just go to 120 hours and bank the time, junior man sure every fleet and seat, the list goes on. So take what you can get now but please don't act like the group will be one big happy family down the road.

Enjoy the retro! and the pay while it last!

I believe their is a timeline in place for the ISL. I also believe the clock for this timeline started on the day that the TA was approved by our MEC's. Anyone care to add more specifics?

exactamundo. Current ALPA SLI policy is basically 6 months from when the MECs accept the AIP. Which makes it a TA. If the TA passes ratification, the process continues. 3 months of "lets work a deal" followed by 3 months of binding arbitration. Worked like a charm at DAL/NWA. If we pass this TA, the SLI is on autopilot, the MECs are merged, and we all live happily ever after. Let's get it on.

Yep, double digit pay raises for all. I'd be giddy if I didn't remember two double digit pay cuts and double digit inflation throughout the duration of the bankruptcy agreement. Time to double down. You feel me?
