I guess I should get used to the idea of being whipsawed in an RJ for the rest of my career. Congrats guys!

I can agree with your sentiment there. It's just hard to stomach how well management pitted different segments of the pilot group against each other to get the cost neutral contract to pass.

Cost neutral? And people wonder why 90% of pilots don't look at the forums. Some guys will say ANYTHING. Yeah, this contract is cost neutral and the seniority list will be settled without arbitration....straght DOH of course. :D

Cost neutral has been Jeff Smisek's mantra with regard to the combined contract since negotiations started, it's not something I made up or found on any forum. Everywhere I looked in the TA that there was a gain there were two or more areas where we as pilots lost ground. I think management won out.

I think this proves that you can't rely on the internet for how pilots are going to vote.

That's always been the case.

This type of media has always been a hotbed of very negative, "brave," people. Kitchen tables, flight deck, crew lounges, roadshows and mailings are where the real com takes place.

Since the announcement of the TA, crew lounges and flight decks seemed very quiet. P2P tables in crew lounges were quiet with normal conversation and quiet exchange between participants. It's normal to see a few individuals screw themselves into the ceiling if a document is hotly contested...there was none of that.

That was the first clue......

lol really?
Every time the TA came up when I flew there was a drawn out discussion about how we couldn't believe how lacking it felt and then one of us said lets talk about something else because it was getting us to aggravated

When I see Jeff's smirking face signing the TA I'm going to hurl. It will be interesting to see how many will still claim to be Yes voters a year from now.

Zullo wins again!

Zullo 2 pilots zero.

I guess we know who the new executive vp will be in charge of the monopoly board.
