Also....if it's YOU (United pilot) that's not getting cooperation in securing your contractual jumpseat because of a gate agent with an attitude.....call the FODM. I have done it more than once with 100% satisfaction. Don't get in a ****ing contest with a gate agent....just take it above their head.

Guys, how hard is it to get some CSRs to move rev pax to accommodate a ps dh in econ+? I can't wait to see the scene when they have to buy off a rev pax to board a non rev pilot. I'd buy an orchestra seat for that dramady.

Already witnessed it in BOS. The agent put a SKYWEST guy in our 1 jumpseat and denied boarding to a rev pax to put a United guy in a pax seat!!!! (econ plus). :D We didn't say nothing. Just buttoned up and flew to DEN.

Afraid the 67%ers are on much better terms with Fredrick then me. Glad to see we are all accepting the 'Make the Walk' bandaid rather then affecting real change where eligible JSers simply get the JS. Shockingly this has never been a problem for me at any other airline. Sounds like CAL Flight Ops has settled in nicely at Willis Tower.

Do any of the 737s have a 2nd jump or is that just a SWA thing?

Speaking to the 737 that are presently on UA's property (flown only on the L-CAL side), the 737-500's are the only ones with two Flt Deck JS configuration. NONE of the 737-NG's (-700/800/900/900ER) have multiple Flt Deck JS that I'm aware of.

Sounds good. I might have to refrain from my anti Belichick/Brady comments next time I pass through BOS. :D

Correct. And, there are only about five 737-500s left. They'll. e gone soon. LOE requires flying a leg on one of these which won't be workable with so few planes and lots of LOE coming up so they're just going to park them before the summer.

I ended up with 28 days off from early December thru the first week in January as I waited to do 2 legs on the 500. It was beautiful.:)

When they are gone will they "flip the switch" to have the standard NG instrumentaion on the NGs?
