Almost 3 hours, I thought it would be quicker.

Yes. What does that have to do with CAL pilots being based in DEN?

Larger retro check?

1995, for Denver.

Continental has never had a hub or pilot base at the current Denver Airport.

Yes, the Airbus took over a vast amount of 737 flying in EWR over the last year, as I'm sure the 737 took some of the Airbus flying out of their bases. It is what it is, so all flying appears to be a big chess match as they move it around to suit managements needs.

"Pot meet kettle".....All points made were founded in your scribe.

LAX: CAL used to do it's hiring/training in LA. There were both Pilot & FA bases in full swing there. As evidence, and as recent as the last couple years (around MAD), CAL owned several buildings/facilities on the West side from that time frame. Prior to CAL's Houston HQ's, where was CAL's "Ivory Tower"? Hint-Los Angeles.

With Denver being a former base, I guess that the 'original' DEN (Stapleton) is outside your historical cuff. There was a sizable L-CAL base that once resided in Denver, look into it.

As far as your justification & reasoning regarding those who are based/established within certain bases that you cite, it seems germane to both groups when looking at past bases common with L-CAL. I agree with the point made earlier in the thread.....If this was something of such concern during the interim......why wasn't it written into one of the many LOA's residing within our "Industry Leading" JCBA??

You do have to realize though, that when Stapleton was around, the majority of pilots at l-cal weren't even on the property yet.

I'm aware. It is a sign of a hasty retreat.
