I'm confident you are sincere in this belief. Wadr, how do you think we can make this the best or worst airline overriding the action of management? Aside from showing up for work, flying safe, and treating people like human beings, what else do you sincerely think we can do?
MGT can affect the bottom line more in either direction drastically. Pilots can only have a large effect to the bottom line if an airframe goes down on their watch. Be safe. |

As long as the airlines in competition are not govt owned I would take that bet. Without that - it is a rigged game.
I really hope I don't see your wish come true in my lifetime. Don't even get me started on limited liability, the root cause of undermining true free market. It would be a difficult transition, but the product would be better and you'd probably have a much better job and dignity to go with it. |
Methinks we'd be unemployed.

Many Asian carriers can't staff their airlines. That's why there are contract jobs. They'd probably pay you well in the first year. Most of the people on this thread have a vast amount of expertise that would go over well and be recognized. Everyone here knows an Asian carrier takeover will not likely happen. But the point is to draw contrast. |
