Not being one to destroy anyone's moral foundation, I was wondering if you could express to me what exactly were the "sands" upon which you built your life.

For instance, what is the meaning of the awards given to Continental Airlines since 2003 in relation to the current merger? Are they an indication of the inferiority of UAL pilots? Are they an indication of Continental's success in avoiding bankruptcy? Are they an indicator of the vibrant future of Continental pilots? Did United Airlines ever experience a period of time when they got awards and accolades whilst Continental did not? What happened in the time period from 1983 to 1985 or 1990 to 1995, how many awards did Continental receive at that time? Are awards a good measure of a companies future? Has anyone ever studied that?
