I'll take 500' and 420 kts on a VR route over Mach 3+ at FL800 any day. The suit is made by David Clark. The current 1035 suit and prior 1031 suit is basically the same thing you saw the shuttle guys wear for launch/RTB after the accident. Minor differences to accommodate aircraft specifics. 500' and 420 kts??? Here I had thought all these years that VR's were for HIGH speed LOW level military flights. ;) SP |
