The last vacancy bid had 767 FO in JFK unfilled as well as Airbus in ORD, IAH, and SFO. I'm wondering if any of those went to new hires?

Bingo. Just ask a Delta pilot how many less pilots they have now vice when their merger occurred.

Answer: about 1000

And that's with a mgmt that is ostensibly sharper then UCH and is expanding their network. Although, I'd be interested to see the cost to the pilot group voting in the 76 seaters in the 90 seat airframe.

That's sort of my point...we had the opportunity to bid on them in the first vacancy bid. The went unawarded. Now they don't show up? So I'm wondering if they are already accounted for.
