New PBS and PC bidding

New PBS and PC bidding
"The monthly recurrent bidding program is not a part of PBS and is accessed via CCS. The company has completely failed in the implementation of this critical program. The SSC has been engaged with the company for over a week requesting they provide information to the pilot group regarding the training footprints, start times, etc. The company finally was able to produce the information just prior to the close of bidding. In light of this last minute publication, we requested and the company agreed to extend bidding by 2 days to Dec. 4 at 1600 CST."
As per the E-mail from ALPA today, I also experienced a lack of information on how to bid to avoid a PC in January in CCS. The information input for me is not accurate, and wrong. So, it won't let me bid to avoid the PC. I wish all of us luck in this transition. It's failure could be bigger than Shares. Also, the PC desk at the crew desk doesn't know how to do it, neither does the 767 fleet at TK.
"Production Jeppesen PBS is now available to start entering Standing Bid Groups by accessing PBS through the Bidding dropdown menu of CCS. **
Also, the E-mail said the Jeppesen PBS is now open to input Standing bids, except everything is grayed out and won't accept any input. So much for hoping things will go smoothly. So...my glass is half fulllllllll....but it's leaking.

Yes, trying to avoid a PC early month, but the data in put for me into CCS from Unimatic appears to be suspect. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are doing, or how to fix it. And....it closes tomorrow, after an extension due to problems.

That's exactly the problem. It shows NA for my PC base month, and no bidding criteria even show on the screen, and no check box to avoid the early PC.
It's almost like...I don't have to do the PC this year, yeeeahhh, that's the ticket. Shhhh, don't tell anyone.

73 hours in BQN. Great if you live there!
January was even more challenging month for the 737 fleet than December. There is no augmentation effective the January bid month due to 737 airplanes not being compliant with the rest facility Class 3. The 737 fleet had about 1500 less block hours in January than in December.
IAH-BON and EWR-BON round trip flights were retimed to be flown without requiring an offline deadhead. There are long layovers (four at 49:08 and four at 73:08) in BQN due to frequency reduction. The new routes for January are: ORD-GRR, SFO-SLC, and GRR-DEN. The trip length distribution has remained the same in January as in December. The credit per day has decreased drastically, synthetic has increased, and the number of deadheads has increased as well.
