It's posted as a line item in the mid-Feb pay statement. 4.1% of regular earnings.

I came up with 4.1% of my eligible gross earnings as well.

The payroll advice for the actual profit sharing check isn't listed on myInfo/All About Me, but as stated the profit sharing amount is shown as a line item on the February 14th payroll advice.

Which gross did you calculate that from? I see three different figures and they are all different. I think you are supposed to subtract out the signing bonus and on time bonuses...but those were negligible amounts in my total. I can't come up with 4.1%. I come up with 3.5%.

1. Regular earnings year to date.
2. W-2 wages
3. Union dues wages.

Using the amount paid in profit sharing and a 4.1% figure I come up with gross earnings over 28K short of what I made??

The 4.1% used the YTD wages off my Dec pays stub. If you use block 5 of the W2 which includes signing bonus it would more line 3.2%. Whatever you got I'm sure it's right because both IT AND payroll were involved. :)

Did anyone else notice on the LUAL side that there isn't a separate per diem check this time? It appears they've rolled it into one check finally. Does this match what others are finding?

That only took 3 years or so

Just so you know the check date 2-14 is no the profit sharing check (at least on the l-UAL side). It does show the profit sharing amount but it is not included in the pay amount. That is strictly flight pay for last month.

In the past the deposit (or check) has been separate.

For new folks- I believe to qualify for the profit sharing you would've had to been on the payroll for the entire year of 2013. Thanks for playing

That's just wonderful news!!

I noticed the profit sharing listed so I concluded it was profit sharing

Nice job pulling that out of you're butt, fortunately you're wrong.

3-H-1 Pilots shall participate in the Company profit sharing plan.
W2 earnings for the year are considered, even if for a partial year. Having to "be on the payroll for the entire year" would exclude pilots who worked part of 2013 but left at some point due to LTD, Mil leave, FLMA, etc.

Unless there's a side letter I'm missing, newbs get paid based on 2013 W2 earnings.
