Default M&H Leather Jacket

I just got mine after a 5 month backorder, just in time for spring. I notice the the blazer wings will not fit in the provided grommets. Is that normal for these jackets?

The shirt wings will fit, but I only have one set.

Thinking maybe sending it back, minus the 15% restocking, and getting something else.

The old UAL wings fit, but I guess the new ones don't. You can have a velcro patch sewed in where the grommet holes are...then carry a plain leather patch and one with wings on it. Then it goes from uniform coat to biker bar jacket in seconds!

Well, maybe they changed them, my grommet holes are 1 7/8 inches apart. While the blazer wing posts are 2 1/4.

As I said, my smaller shirt wings fit, so just going to use my "Classic UAL" shirt wings until I can order another set of shirt wings.

Anyone know if I can wear my leather jacket from my last company? Its black but has the smooth shiny finish instead of the grooved rougher look. Im sure they may be different "skins" but I have no idea. They are both black that's all I know.

Just talked to M&H, apparently, they sell two styles. One with 1 7/8 grommet spacing, and the United style, with 2 1/4 grommet spacing. They sent the wrong one.

hey Jetblast,

I don't know what the official word is, but, I have seen just about every style of leather jacket there is being worn. Wear it until the uniform police get you.

That's what I figured. It probably won't matter because I probably won't fly until its warm everywhere.....unless maybe it will be cold again? No one is flying in the right seat of anything in EWR. Last week when I checked there were zero trips in open time through April 30th on the bus. Good times!

What did they offer up as a fix for this situation? I'm in the same boat with the 1 7/8" spacing.
