Default How long after the check ride until IOE?

Wife is finishing up 37 F/O training in IAH. EWR based. No IOE is yet scheduled and she's wondering how long it's been for the other recent 37 grads until they're scheduled. And when you were called, how much notice were you given (as she'll need to commute in)?

Thanks

In my class, some waited almost 2 weeks before being scheduled IOE, and I had 4 days off with approximately 12 hours notice before I had to leave my house. I asked the training scheduler why the discrepancy, and he said that the background checks take longer with some people. The people who get called right away for IOE have their background checks complete.

I had 3 days off prior to IOE last August (737). Stay with IOE scheduling if you need to work days off around IOE. Once you're complete you'll be immediately released to the line and they don't care about any deals you worked with Toby.

OK, thanks everybody. It seems that she could sit, or she could be working by Thursday.

Guess she'll just wait for the phone to ring.

Does training pay continue thru the day you complete IOE?

Is IOE always at your assigned base?
