Check your old vacancy bids.
Noticed after 1502 was awarded, the standing bid my wife had was gone.
Turns out it wasn't a mistake.
From CCS:
Effective October 3, 2014, there is a change to the Vacancy Bidding process; all prior vacancy bid elections have been removed. Pilots desiring a position advertised in any vacancy published on or after October 3, 2014, must submit new vacancy bid choices.
Pilots now have the option to designate all bid choices as “standing bids.” This election is done by clicking the appropriate check box on the CCS “Vacancy Bidding” screen.
The “keep standing bids” check box may be checked or unchecked at any time the vacancy bidding screen is accessible. You must click the “save” button each time the box is checked or unchecked. You will receive a confirmation of your election; please retain for your records.
At the close of each vacancy advertisement, a pilot’s bid choices will be cleared except for pilots who have checked the “keep standing bids” check box. Standing bids will remain for all future vacancy bids until the pilot unchecks the box, or is granted a vacancy award, at which time all standing bids will be programmatically removed and the “keep standing bids” checkbox will default to unchecked.
If you have questions, contact [email protected]. An updated Bidding user guide reflecting this information will soon be posted to Flying Together > Flight Operations > Pilot Resources > CCS Training Materials, and to CCS > Help > Bidding.
So, check your bids and (most likely), put them back.
