Probe,

Great observation. I'll welcome any and all jets to mainline.

I can probably get someone to drain that pee out of your Cheerios if you'd like. Merely an observation of new events and how they affect the bidding cycles in upcoming years and months. If you read what I wrote, you'll see I'm fine with everything so relax.

For a 400 guy the 777 is quieter.
For a 787 guy you don't have to worry about leaning forward and hitting your forehead on the HUD on a 777.

You both win.

I am stuck on the Uberguppy. The cockpit is too small and loud, no intercom, and the toilet seat won't stay up.

There is something for everybody with 10 777-300ER.

Im right there with you on the über guppy. Though I will say that the middle section where you stare 85% of the time is pretty cool. RNAV RNP is pretty slick.

Me too... but I would prefer them to be growth airplanes, which these are not. If we welcome 10 new ones and park 20 old ones, that's obviously not going to be beneficial. Not suggesting that's what happening, just that it's not about the number of NEW... it's about the number of TOTAL

Good point and get what you are saying...they are growth and that was my intention. See sunvox's post. That's also why I would welcome even 735s back if it means growth.

Sing it brother!! I'm with you. I'll happily take any growth frame they want to bring

Looks like UAL took delivery of the last 777-300ER on the 20th. Wide body fleet should be stable for a while. The rest of the fleet has the 10 across economy seats and Polaris business first interiors being installed. We have 9 200's with the new seating now, with 4 scheduled or in XMN for conversion.

Now all management has to do is decide if we will take delivery of the A350's.

The 3 Hawaiian 767-300ER's look like they have been in storage for a while. Not sure when they might join the fleet.

The three Hawaiian birds will next to go into conversion the last three class 767 is on its way to HKG now if not already there. There are 7 300’s that are slated to be retired which the three Hawaiian birds plus the 13 additional 787-9’s thst were ordered for 2020 will replace or allow other aircraft to replace. We will probably see an ORD 787 base for the summer of 2020 is my guess.

Something interesting mentioned elsewhere and visible on the United Mainline Fleet webpage... another 11 787-10s with N numbers already assigned. Status says - "Estm Delivery 2024". Right around when those 350s are supposed to be arriving in force. Another sign that management has probably already decided...

Who sources that webpage and do they troll as hard as we do?

Edit: prob not, unless we start to see A380s on it lol.
