Thank you. That relieves a good amount of stress.

Still not sure which one to bid though. I'm looking at bidding the 737 for the larger fleet, and requesting a lateral immediately. Unfortunately, we don't have any 737 to EWR in the initial drop, but with 127 vacancies out there for EWR it be doable quickly...

Welcome back.

I don't want to mislead, I'm an initial hire. However, I have a couple of good friends helping me out with good advice, and information. Neither of them flew A320s out of EWR though, so their concept of how much LGA flying was missing.

LGA 73 flying anecdotally is about 10% of all trips. Easily avoidable for the most part. I'm 56% in base and can avoid all LGA trips and have been since a lateral from IAH to LGA a year ago.

ORD...

Just got my spot confirmed in the Sept 22nd new hire class and can't wait to get started! The closest base to me is ORD. I've heard that the 737 might be more senior but just looking for some info about 737 vs A320 to get into ORD the quickest. Thanks!
