I bought the Telex and used them for a while. They were nice. In the end, I just went back to the free plastic tubes as the airbus cockpit is so quiet.

After hearing about mixed results and turnaround times with the guy at TK from my classmates a few months ago, I looked online and found good reviews for the ear molds at pilotstuff.com/AverySound. I paid $67 for what they call the satin soft mold with color and $14 for the bar it snaps onto. Shipping is free/included. You can order additional molds at a discount, but I didn't do that. A few days later a little ear mold kit with good, detailed directions arrived. My wife helped me make the impression, I shipped it back using the included materials (postage prepaid), and I had a very comfortable, very satisfactory custom mold in hand about 2 weeks later. Highly recommended.

Telex 850 anr. Light and work great. If ordering it for the United bus, make sure to get the one with the Boeing RCA plugs and NOT the Airbus cannon plug style.

I used (and loved) the telex 850 in the CRJ, but the molded ear piece is sufficient in the Airbus. The clarity could be better, but I just don't feel like lugging a headset around with me.
