This is an indictment. Just not sure of what or whom.

Too bad the company doesn't issue a large dose of humble pie when Pilots pass through the portals of TK. Last two SkyWest new-hires I flew with were extremely arrogant and pretended they were still safely ensconced in the left seat of the CRJ jet they had just left. Couldn't believe the cockiness of these guys and with one I informed him that I'd be dropping his name in the pro-stans box.

Isn't a condemnation of all the great SkyWest people I fly with but two brand new guys in a row with super egos and attitudes, really???

Tip for those of you joining us here. You're not the Captain anymore and it goes a long way to show up and not try and run the show. Guaranty you I'll be keeping an eye on the Captain wanna-be and if it happens again, will take it a lot further than Pro-Stans. Very glad to have all of the great new hires coming to UAL and food and drinks are always on me for the half-wingers who get the big picture.

You must be a cPT.

You would elevate a half-winger above pro-standards assuming that would be the Chief Pilot ? Since he/she is on probation you would jeopardizing their entire career because you fail to mentor a new-hire ?!

Running to the chief pilot's office is a concept foreign to many of us.

Attempted to "mentor" during the entire trip with no results. Guy was a PIA with attitude and wasn't listening at all. Maybe I'm doing the other 12,000 of us a big favor by weeding out the undesirables so that you won't have to put up with his BS?

I guess I should have just went straight to the CPO and skipped pro stans altogether

So you didn't fill out nor ask for either of these guys probie eval forms? Secondly why post some off topic rant versus start a new thread to tell us how you flew with a couple of d-bags?
