UAL outta Denver?
I've heard that UAL was considering pulling out of Denver. Is there any truth to that? I know it's probably been discussed elsewhere, but my real question is this: who will snatch up all those unused gates? (If anyone)

Source? Or just random speculation?

Last word was JetBlue is gonna get all the gates and start flying A350s from their new hub. (Source) |
Absolutely true. They are consolidating the training centers to Denver only. Then pulling all flying out. Then they will buy tickets for each pilot to come and go from training on southwest 787s

Ok, so based on all the sarcastic responses, the rumors are not true. But yes, that wouldn't make sense if the training center is based in Denver.
Carry on.... |

Not coincidently, UAL started making "noises" about DIA right about the time they were negotiating with Denver about the lease. But now that UAL and Denver have come to terms UAL has extended the DIA lease to 2035 and announced the entire pilot training center is being consolidated there. Apparently organized labor employee groups are not the only use of UAL's well tuned psyops. |
They are moving all flight operations to Pueblo starting next week.
