The current Indoc class interviewed mid-May...

Look for the FB page "United New Hire Group - Half Wing" which has some of this information (note: must have a CJO date or "U" number to be accepted).

Two questions if anyone can help:

1) Has anyone with an availability date of at least March'17 received an interview invite?

2) What age is the 'average' oldest in most classes? Mid/high 40s?

Thx!

I know 2 folks who have March invites....

Average age is low 40's.

Copy all, thank you!

Based on age on when you get to choose.

Number two varies from class to class. In mine, it was low 40's. In the one after mine, it was low 50's.

Would it be at possible to get a break down of aircraft/domiciles for the last couple new hire classes?

I'm just a little peon wishing on a star.....

From watching the forum threads and other sites, classes have been ~18 new hires (and a few recalls...but they bid BES differently)...

Recent new hire assignment breakdown has been all 737 and roughly:

12 to SFO
3 to EWR
3 to DCA

In the spring of '16, LAX 737 was awarded, but not recently

Return of a few 320 and 756 assignments possibly in the spring of '17.

I thought we were calling it a "category" now and not "BES".

We don't call it "Flight Operations" we call it the "Chief Pilot's Office" even though CCS says I work in IAHFO and not IAHCPO.

Whatever.

I am sure that my vernacular is not correct as I am not on property yet...

Don't take this the wrong way, but is a perfect case of why you shouldn't say anything until you are on property.
