Opens at noon. Best of luck to all. I'm glad to see some decent bids in IAH for a change! 20 777 CAs 38 777 FOs. First significant WB bid we've seen in IAH in a while.

We must have posted within seconds of each other. I checked and there was nothing on APC and after I posted yours was there.

LOL. I noticed that yours popped up within seconds so I knew we must have been typing out the post at the same time.

Serious question:

Not planning on bidding, but took a look tonight at the CCS page for "Vacancy bidding."

Was surprised to see that my BES (756 IAH) showed about about half the number of bodies I see when I look at the domicile roster!

So I wondered: "Does it only show the number of lineholders?"

No, I checked some other fleets...they were within 2-5 people of total strength, each.

So.....anyone see this before? My fleet has been announced as overmanned for next summer by pilot planning (roughly 50 guys)....but I didn't think the vacancy-bid page would showed "desired end-strength" until something was official.

It shows min numbers from the bulletin found on flying together. When they run the first snapshot it will show actual numbers.

Thanks, guys. I figured it was the numbers they are hoping to work towards, given the update from last week.

Once the first snapshot is taken, it will look better. It shows your percentage based on the "min" from the min/max bulletin. Once a snapshot is posted it will look more normal. I hope that answers your question. Have a beer. You'll feel better.

I just looked at the same and it appears from CCS that I can't even hold my current domicile and equipment. Looking at the Min/Max are they planning to shrink ORD 737 FO?
