Ohhh I know.... But let's say there are 2 applicants remaining on the list but only 1 spot left:

1) 4500+ total time Part 121 Regional Captain, Check Airman, Company Instructor...etc. Infantryman-Army.

vs.

2) 1200 total time F-18, B-1, C-130, C-5, SR-71, X-15, Space Shuttle--IP, Safety, etc....USAF

Who do you think they would pick? That's what I meant in my earlier post.

Let see what happens. Good luck to all of you sir's and ma'ams trying to go. Hope they have more slots available than applicants. Everyone who served deserves this invaluable opportunity!

I think they would chose whoever had more points on their United App. (all other things being equal).

If the points for their UA App were close then I think they would chose whoever had the earlier availability date.

You are implying that there is likely a bias towards those who piloted mil aircraft, which may be true. But, keep in mind, the guy running pilot recruiting for UA is a vet, but was not a mil pilot!

Just got the invite for Nov 10, PM session. Does this mean I don't get to meet with a recruiter one on one since they said that will only be on Nov 11?
